Today, the only thing I want to give you is a blessing. Straight from the mouth of our heavenly Father. Quite frankly, I think you need it. A reminder, because this blessing has always been here, waiting for you.
Whatever you are struggling with, whatever ‘storm of life’ you are in, God sees you. Our Heavenly Father hears your prayers and is answering them. The Lord loves you and cares about every detail of your life. So open up your hearts and minds today and receive this word, a blessing for you.
We’ve been talking about ‘if God says it, we can trust it,” and as we dive into the scriptures, we see verse after verse of God speaking to His people. Our Holy Bible is a love story from God to us. So today, I want to echo a blessing into you and your life, in hopes you will see how much the Father loves you.
The Lord loves you!
“The Lord bless you
and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”
The other day, I was outside sitting on my patio. It was overcast but as I sat there I closed my eyes. I could hear the birds chirping in the trees. All of a sudden, the sun began to peek out from behind the clouds. I stayed there, eyes closed, as the warmth on my face was comforting. I knew where it was coming from. The sun on my face always makes me think of this verse.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face shine upon you and give you peace.”
God is for us. He is with us. He goes before us and behind us. We know this because the Word tells us so. There is comfort in knowing that no matter what situation we find ourselves in, God is with us. God is with you right now. Often fighting for us as a parent fights for a child. So lift up your voices and sing “Amen” because He is with you!
There’s this fairly new song out called The Blessing. I want you to hear, to sing it, to believe it. Receive it as a blessing for you and know that God loves you so much.

Let us pray,
God of all blessing, thank you for keeping us. Thank you for shining your face upon us and giving us your peace. Continue to pour your Spirit upon us that we may know you more. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
