Today, the only thing I want to give you is a blessing, straight from the mouth of God, our Father. Quite frankly, I think you need it. I know I do.
This is a reminder of a blessing that has always been here, just waiting for you. All you have to do is receive it!
Whatever you are struggling with today, whatever ‘storm of life’ you are in, God sees you, hears you, and is answering your prayers. The Lord loves you and cares about every detail of your life. So, open up your heart and mind and receive this word, a blessing for you.
You know, if God says it, you can trust it. If you look at scripture, there is verse after verse of God speaking to His people. Our Holy Bible is a real live love story from God to us. So today, I want to echo a blessing into you and your life, in hopes you will see how much the Father loves you.
The Lord loves you!
“The Lord bless you
and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”
God is continually trying to bless us and if you pay attention, you will see there are blessings all around us.
The other day, I was outside sitting on my patio. It was overcast but as I sat there I closed my eyes. I could hear the birds chirping in the trees. All of a sudden, the sun began to peek out from behind the clouds. I stayed there, eyes closed, as the warmth on my face was comforting. I knew where it was coming from. The sun on my face always makes me think of this verse. It is as if God is turning His face toward me. God not only sees me, God loves me!
“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face shine upon you and give you peace.”
It is important to remember, God is for us. And, He is with us. He goes before us and behind us. We know this because the Word tells us so. There is comfort in knowing that no matter what situation we find ourselves in, God is always with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Right now, God is with you. Often fighting for us as a parent fights for a child. So lift up your voices and sing “Amen” because He is with you!
