Have you ever thought about a Father’s love? This could be your earthly father, or the love you as a father have for your child. It could be God’s love for us. Regardless, it is important to recognize the love the Father has for us. Last week, I wrote a blog on the importance of honoring your father. I referenced Luke 15:11-32 that talks about this Father’s love. Today, I would like to point out a couple of things from this well-known story. This father’s […]

There is one thing for certain, you have a mother and you have a father. Even if you have not had the best upbringing or maybe your father wasn’t around much, I pray someone stepped up and became your father-figure. With Father’s Day this weekend, it is a good time to remember why we should honor our fathers. There is something mysterious that happens in the becoming. As I move through this life, I realize it takes the highs and lows, even the waiting, to transform me into the spiritually strong person I am meant to be. Just as the caterpillar keeps moving toward the cocoon in order to become the beautiful butterfly, I am becoming that which I was meant to be. What lessons could be waiting for you […]

And music paired with prayer and scripture is down right powerful! Thank you for sharing. Be sure to share again this week either in the comments below or on Facebook. I want to know what you do to be spiritually stronger? You never know, you might see your ideas […]
Due to an unexpected backache a few weeks ago, I was forced to take a good, long look at myself. Thus began this journey of becoming stronger, not just physically but spiritually. Last week, I reflected on my mother, and how she “never forgot what her eyes had seen.” Looking at her life, I discovered two critical pieces to my spiritual strength; scripture and prayer. She knew her scripture and when things got tough, she never forgot the Word that she planted in her heart. […]
